About Sayyara
Built by someone who believes independent shops deserve better.
Why I Built Sayyara

Nabeel Ibrahim
Founder & CEO — University of Waterloo, Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineering background. Twelve years building software — scaling teams, shipping SaaS, running product and operations at companies that grew from early-stage to enterprise. I know what it actually costs to build software well, and I know what shops are being overcharged for it.
I also grew up watching family friends run their own shops. So when I started looking at what was available to them in 2024, I wasn't surprised by what I found. I was just finally in a position to do something about it.
What I Kept Seeing
A technician finishes an inspection. They find four things — brakes metal-on-metal, a leaking CV boot, two tires worn past the wear bars, cabin air filter black. They write it on a paper RO, hand it to the service advisor, who calls the customer, gets voicemail, leaves a message, and waits. The car sits. The bay sits. The tech moves on. Two hours later the customer calls back, can't remember what items were mentioned, and says “just do the brakes.”
That's the real cost. Not the software subscription. The approved work that never gets approved because the customer couldn't see it, couldn't understand it, and didn't have a way to respond without picking up the phone on their lunch break.
Meanwhile, the dealership sent a link with photos, a colour-coded inspection report, and a one-tap approve button. Same customer, five minutes later — approved. That's not a better shop. That's better software.
Why I Picked This Problem
I spent months sitting across from shop owners — at their desks, in their shops, sometimes standing in the parking lot after hours. I wasn't pitching anything. I was just listening. And I kept hearing the same version of the same story.
One owner told me: “I know my work is better than the dealership down the street. But I can't prove it to my customers because everything I send them looks like a text message. They send a full report. I send a phone call. I'm losing on presentation, not quality.”
I'd shipped enough SaaS products to know this was solvable. A customer portal where owners can see repair status in real time. Photo-backed digital inspections they can approve with a tap. Automated updates that eliminate the phone tag. Invoice to QuickBooks without anyone touching a spreadsheet. None of it is technically hard. It just hadn't been built for shops that can't spend $400 a month on software.
So I built it. At $99/month. With unlimited users, no setup fees, and a 14-day trial that doesn't ask for a credit card.
What I Promised Myself
- No enterprise prices. If a shop can afford to exist, they can afford Sayyara.
- No lock-in. Cancel anytime. Your data is yours.
- Actually listen.I'm one email away. Every piece of feedback goes into the roadmap.
- Earn trust, not buy it. Your customers should see your work clearly — photos, estimates, status updates — so they trust you as much as I do.
What I Stand For
Enterprise software companies built tools for dealerships with giant budgets. Independent shops got spreadsheets, sticky notes, and expensive legacy systems. That's wrong — and Sayyara exists to fix it.
Most shop software feels stuck in 2010. Slow, clunky, built by people who've never set foot in a shop. Sayyara is built for how shops actually work today — fast, mobile, connected.
Dealerships win on trust because they have digital dashboards, inspection photos, and status updates. Now you can too — and your customers will wonder why every shop isn't this transparent.
Months of conversations with shop owners — their frustrations, their fears about losing customers to dealerships, their exhaustion from chasing paper trails. This is built for them, not about them.
What I'm Asking From You
I'm not asking you to trust a big company with a fancy marketing budget. I'm asking you to try something built specifically for your shop, by someone who's actually listened to what you need.
Give me 14 days. Use it with your real customers. See if it makes your life easier and your shop look more professional. If it doesn't — tell me why. I read every piece of feedback personally.
